Élan offers all the DAB features you’d expect from PURE, including fast autotune, station selection by name, and scrolling text showing track and artist information, news and sports updates. We’ve also added 16 presets (eight DAB and eight FM) for storing and recalling your favourite stations, a clock display and even a sleep timer.
Specifications: Stereo DAB digital and FM radio with full Band III reception capability, for reception of all UK DAB broadcasts. Compliant with ETS 300 401 and capable of decoding all DAB transmission modes 1-4 up to and including 256 kbps.
Frequency ranges: DAB Band III (174 - 240 MHz), with fast autotune feature and 87.5MHz – 108MHz FM.
Speakers: Two full-range 3" drive units.
Output connector: 3.5 mm socket for headphone and stereo analogue audio output.

LCD display: Custom, easy to read LCD with 16 x 2 character display plus status icons.
Power supply: 230V AC to 9V DC external power adapter or batteries (not supplied).
Batteries: 6 ‘C‘ cell batteries (not supplied) provide 30 hours DAB or 80 hours FM at normal listening levels. Ultra low-power standby mode.
Approvals: CE marked. Compliant with the EMC and Low Voltage Directives (89/336/EEC and 73/23/EEC).
