DAB RADIO FOR QUALITY AND EASE OF USE
The DAB transmission standard provides high-quality, interference-free digital audio without the hiss, crackle and fade of AM/FM broadcasts. Fast autotune locates all available DAB stations. Select stations by name and list them alphabetically or in the order you listen to them most. Scrolling text shows additional data such as song titles, artists’names, programme descriptions, news headlines and more.

WIDE VARIETY AND CHOICE OF STATIONS
Up to twice as many stations are available in many areas as via FM. UK stations broadcast digitally include national BBC Radios 1-4, BBC Radio 5 Live, Classic FM, talkSPORT and Virgin Radio, plus local and unique-to-digital stations.

CLASS-LEADING AUDIO
EVOKE-2^XT offers class-leading audio quality with its custom designed full-range hi-fi speakers and active filters for a natural ‘direct-from-the-studio’ sound. It is also bass reflex ported for richer more natural reproduction of low frequencies.

KITCHEN TIMER
The countdown timer is ideal for kitchen use and easy to set using the timer button.

ALARM FUNCTION
Easy to use tone or radio alarm. Time is automatically updated from the DAB signal, so you don’t have to set it or worry about resetting it when the clocks go forward or back.

USB UPGRADEABLE
Whether it’s enhancements to the DAB standard or new features from PURE, the USB connector enables you to keep your EVOKE-2^XT up to date.

Specifications: Stereo DAB digital and FM radio with full Band III reception for all UK DAB broadcasts. ETS 300 401 compliant and capable of decoding all DAB transmission modes 1-4 up to and including 256 kbps.

Frequency range: DAB Band III 174-240 MHz; FM 87.5-108 MHz.

Alarm & timer: Alarm with station or tone setting. Countdown timer for kitchen use.

Speakers: Two full-range 3" drive units.

Input connectors: 9V DC power adapter socket (230V adapter supplied), USB (B type) for software upgrades, 3.5mm Line in for auxiliary devices.

Battery power: Six size C batteries or ChargePAK (available separately). Battery life of 25 hours on standard alkaline batteries or over 15 hours with ChargePAK. Ultra low-power standby mode.

Approvals: CE marked. Compliant with the EMC and Low Voltage Directives (89/336/EEC and 73/23/EEC).
