Digital Audio Broadcasting or DAB Radio is well on the way to taking over from analogue radio. Already the Governement has outlined plans to switch off analogue signals in TV initially then Radio to follow, beginning as early as 2006.
DAB Radio offers many advantages, most importantly of which is the improvement in sound quality and the exclusion of any interference in the frequency.
